This will be an opportunity for people to come along and view the progress of the play and give their feedback which will help the development of the production.
The open rehearsal will consist of:
-viewing traditional West African (Sierra Leonean, Temne) performance, including drumming and dance
-classical Asian music (Mughal era. Mughal empire includes modern-day India, Pakistan & Afghanistan. Strong Persian cultural influences as well)
-Sea shanties
-puppetry and mask (this is a bit misleading as it's not really aimed at small children so maybe is a less important element)
-chance to give feedback on a work in progress and help shape its development
-meet the artists involved
