Learn West African drumming, dancing and storytelling with David Dravie-John of Pax Productions and Re:Verse Theatre.

Participants will get experience with Djembe drums and other instruments, sing songs in West African languages and learn how to tell traditional stories. 

No experience required but please wear comfortable clothing they can move in if they want to participate in the dance component 

About the company 

Originally from Sierra Leone, David is the movement director for the upcoming production of The Hamlet Voyage about a Shakespearean performance in Sierra Leone in 1607, premiering on board the Matthew Ship at the Bristol Harbour Festival 16-17.
